DESCRIPTION:register in the eventbrite link – tickets required \n  \n  \nSOLD OUT MULTIPLE TIMES! \nWomen’s Lead Club strives to offer educational opportunities for our members! \nJoin Tracy Kelly and Steve Schwortz of Lovers Leap Guides for a day of Self Rescue. \nWe teach this course at Rescue Rock. A perfect location away from crowds and set up just for this course. Climbers will first see a complete demonstration of a rescue situation starting with escaping the belay\, ascending the rope to the injured climber\, transferring to a new anchor\, and finally descending mutiple rappels with the injured climber. From there students will be taught each skill until they are comfortable performing it on their own. \nNO MALE IDENTIFIED PARTICIPANTS WILL BE PERMITTED

DESCRIPTION:Born in the Canadian Rockies\, Celeste brings 25 years of climbing experience including over a decade competing on the Canadian national team to her work as a climbing instructor.She has coached competitive teams\, designed bouldering specific programs for adult climbers\, and dedicated herself to helping others build not just strength\, but a deeper connection to the movement and mindset of climbing. Her teaching style is grounded in creativity\, exploration\, and flow\, with a focus on unlocking technique and inspiring climbers to take their skills beyond the gym and into the outdoors. \nIf you’ve nailed the basics and want to move with more precision\, control\, and confidence\, this workshop is for you. Designed for intermediate climbers\, we’ll refine key footwork skills like silent stepping\, advanced edging\, smearing\, flagging\, and body positioning. Through focused drills and creative movement challenges\, you’ll break out of old habits\, learn to read sequences more effectively\, and develop the kind of footwork that makes hard climbs feel smoother (and more fun). Less power\, more finesse—because great climbing starts from the ground up.
